The storeMate MSE entrance unit display (also used with the quick shopper) shows simple instructions with both an image and text, to guide the customer when he/she wants to take a hand scanner to start self-scanning.

In case there is no hand scanner available (e.g. all cradles are empty or the customer is blocked), the customer is referred to the service desk.
